Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Taylor is an American actor and producer who is best famous for the roles she was on the television series Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She received a B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in theater, film and TV. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 and went onto appear in independent, mainstream and television series. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make appearances on BET's acclaimed television series The Book of Negroes. She started her career acting in 1995 as Ariel in The Tempest. She has performed on Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her most well-known work is her roles in the films Men of Honor and The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. She is also well-known for her role on ABC's crime show High Incident.
