Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who is a specialist in country pop music and songwriting gained prominence on television after she was cast as Alex in the third and final seasons of One Tree Hill. The first of Jana Kramer's country albums were included in episodes of One Tree Hill, helping to propel her debut album from 2012 to the top 20 of the Billboard 200. Kramer went on to portray Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. In the same year, she made a splash with an adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
